The Zadis Project

Happy Thursday! I have some Little Miss Muffet Stamps inspiration for you today. I created this scene to really celebrate the last of summer. To me summer says hiking, the outdoors, camping and when you are in a semi-arid place, like Colorado there are bound to be cacti. 😀 So, I used the seriously cute Jr Hatter Rosalind and Desert Cactus digi stamps for my make.

What can I say, but Bo Bunny’s Camp a Lot Collection was absolutely perfect for today’s card! All the papers are so great with the natural browns, oranges and greens, but then you include the elements and oh boy do we have a winner! I especially liked all the signs in the elements pack.

I added some fab Cherry Barc Wood tape from ARC Crafts. I LOVE this stuff! It is real wood, so you can’t get closer to nature. 😉 I used small 1/2” epoxy stickers and stuck them on the cherry wood tape to create embellishments. I also used the tape as a border along the brown Bo Bunny paper.

I went back to my Copics for this one. 🙂 I love other mediums, but Copics will always be my main go-to coloring medium for sure! I did use a bit of pencil over her face though, to help smooth out some bad blending.

Did you see the cactus? Oh  yeah, that came out so freaking great! I LOVE the color combo – it gave it the exact hue I was going for.

Little Miss Muffet Stamps

We are half-way through the "Anything Goes" challenge, so you still have time to play along! Any image is accepted, but if you use a LMMS image or Make it Crafty or Bugaboo or Wee Stamps then you get more chances to link up. Who wouldn't love their very own Jr Hatter Rosalind? 🙂

This is such a fun image and card! And your colouring is fantastic! Love how you used so much contrast – I never feel comfortable using lots of dark colours because I feel I am ruining my image, but yours is stunning!
