Good morning! It has been awhile, I know. Life has certainly been busy for me. We have been pretty sick in the home the last two weeks and to top that off our house hunting is coming to an end!
We sign on a little lovely row house today! I'll have a much needed craft area with lots of storage and space. Oh that blessed thing...space. 😀 So that means that sometimes I might go AWOL and pretty much all of my July will be hectic since that is our move in month. 🙂
Enough with that though, on to my Thursday Inspiration! Ever since I was in the Dove Art Blog Hop I've enjoyed coloring the images. They are perfect learning images on how to blend and use the artist lines to really put life into the card. Himalayan Poppy, scaled up, really was a challenge for me, but worth the time and effort.
Not too many details here. I went full blown CAS on this, making sure the blown-up Himalayan Poppy was the focus of the card. I added in a sentiment (cutting file) from the Silhouette Store and that was it.
My idea was to concentrate on my coloring of the poppies. I wanted to take particular care to bring out the images and bring them to life really.
