I had a lot of fun making this one. Stamp from TiddlyInks. The stamp was so much fun to color with my ProMarkers. I went with a pseudo Chocolate-Vanilla-Strawberry mixture. The flag was first stamped, then cut on patterned paper. I held it together with two black-and-white brads.
When we lose someone, we have all these memories stored up in our brains, just waiting to be remembered and possibly shared. I wanted a create a special place so that as a family, we could share our wonderful memories of Grandma and Grandpa Palmer. I loved making this box. The paper is from Hobby Lobby, and wouldn't you know it, they had the perfect paper for two devote Catholics. 😀
I have found an invaluable tool in card making -- markers. Not just your everyday run-of-the-mill markers, but alcohol based markers by Letraset that allow for an amazing amount of blending. I've become obsessed with them, and by extension digital stamps. 😀 They add a wonderful new dimension to my cards, tbh.
Here are two of my first "cards" done. One isn't a card, but the front page of my Junque Journal that I plan to take to the US with me & journal about my 3-week visit! I LOVE the digistamps by Tiddly Inks. Both are amazing.
