Sending Monster Hugs & a DOS attack

Hello, hello. I needed some Monster Hugs this week. I seemed to have fallen into a rabbit hole for a bit, if you noticed. The Zadis Project blog seemed to have undergone a DOS (Denial of Service) attack of sorts, at least that is what the OH thinks it might be considering the blog had thousands & thousands of login attempts. So much so that the server where the blog is hosted could not be reached. 🙁 We’ve been trying since Monday to figure things out, but only was it yesterday that the OH had the time to sit down & really look into things.

Now, however, things are looking back to normal with the blog & my craft supplies have grown – so more cards are on the way! Today’s card is using the cute little Lawn Fawn Monster Mash, which I colored up during the month for The Daily Marker 30 Day challenge. 🙂

After I saw just how brilliantly bright the stamps came out with my Zig Real Brush Markers, I thought pairing it with black & white would really let the little monsters pop. I used some sparkly foam layered to create a Puffy Cloud Borders playground for the monsters.

Some thoughts on September

While I may have not finished with The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge, it set my creative juices flowing. I call that a win. 🙂 I’ve been wanting to get back into coloring & more specifically card making again. The coloring challenge seemed to do the trick. The last couple weeks of the challenge I felt it a shame to color up more images when the ones I had colored would look so pretty on cards!

With that thought in mind, I sent off for some card making supplies. Some new dies to make the card bases easier (complete with stitching, because who doesn’t love stitching?). A stamping press (YAY!) to finally get straight lines! As well as some papers to round out the order. I’ll be working in the craft room this weekend, so expect more posts & more love from me!
